FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to obstetrics, pathological physiology, and can be used to predict the threat of miscarriage in the early stages during the reactivation of latent cytomegalovirus infection. In women, the serum content of estradiol (E2) and in ng/ml of estrogen receptor α (ERα) is determined in pg/ml by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Then, the threat of early miscarriage is predicted during reactivation of latent cytomegalovirus infection using the prognostic index of PI: PI= –126.801 – (0.146×Е2) + (18.352× ERα), where PI is a discriminant function, the boundary value of which is (–1.421). If PI is equal to or less than the cutoff value, the threat of miscarriage in the early stages is predicted upon reactivation of latent cytomegalovirus infection. If PI is greater than the cutoff value, the absence of a threat of miscarriage in the early stages is predicted upon reactivation of latent cytomegalovirus infection.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the accuracy of predicting the threat of early miscarriage during the reactivation of latent cytomegalovirus infection by determining the content of estradiol and estrogen receptor α in the blood serum by enzyme immunoassay, calculating the prognostic index based on the data obtained using the discriminant analysis method.
