FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: in the classic design between the swivel mechanism and the automobile chassis of the mobile inspection complex (MIC), a stabilizing mechanism consisting of two platforms, fixed and movable (swinging), connected together by means of a rod, is additionally introduced. The fixed platform is rigidly connected to the car chassis, the mobile platform is rigidly connected by a rotary mechanism on which an X-ray source (XRS) with an arrow is mounted. Between the platforms in the corners pneumatic springs and shock absorbers are put in pairs.

EFFECT: improving the quality of X-ray images of objects of control due to stabilization in the horizontal position of the X-ray source and U-shaped gates.
