FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: cement for bone surgery, which includes (wt %) components of the dry mix: β-tricalcium phosphate 36-71.5, monocalcium phosphate monohydrate 10-52, discrete glass fiber 0.5-2, and a solution-distilled water or inorganic salt solution-magnesium sulfate heptahydrate, sodium pyrophosphate or sodium citrate with a solution concentration of 1-40 % In an amount of 10-50 wt %. As a fiberglass discrete glass fiber is used, formed from sodium-calcium-magnesium-aluminosilicate glass with fibers with a diameter of 1-50 microns and a length of 0.5-3 cm. A method of producing cement for bone surgery is described; it includes mixing pre-prepared components of the dry mix, homogenizing the dry mixture, mixing with the occluding solution, and then forming the cement mixture directly by depositing it into the bone defect or mould, followed by pressing under pressure of 10-30 MPa.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the strength characteristics of cement by reducing its porosity while reducing the loss of weight after soaking in a buffer solution.
