FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: ongoing monitoring comprehensive system for safety in underground coal mines with the use of fiber-optical sensors made on the basis of the lattice, containing an aboveground part and an underground part. The aboveground part contains a fiber-optic static demodulator based on a grid, a computer data processing system, a printer, a server and a client. The underground part contains a block of optical switches, a subsystem for current security monitoring of the forefield and a subsystem for monitoring the safety of the tunnel. Both of the ongoing monitoring subsystems contain at least one base station of the ongoing monitoring. Each base station of the ongoing monitoring contains at least one ongoing monitoring station. Each ongoing monitoring station corresponds to a set of fiber-optic sensors based on the lattice. The ongoing monitoring system uses a number of monitoring stations, performs ongoing monitoring of many parameters under the ground, is combined with lattice-based fiber optic sensors, uses a fully fiber-optic measurement and fiber optic cable for signal transmission.

EFFECT: system is safe in nature, has high resistance to electromagnetic interference, allows to achieve good results of current monitoring and implements data sharing with continuous operational long-term monitoring in real time and production over large areas, thereby improving the management of safe coal mining, it is possible to effectively reduce the occurrence of accidents in a coal mine and the possibility of safe and highly effective coal production.
