FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods that provide compensation for optical aberrations using a deformable mirror and can be used in active and adaptive optical systems designed to compensate for the aberrations of the wavefront of light. The method for compensating optical aberrations using a deformable mirror involves measuring the aberrations of the wavefront and converting the results of these measurements into a set of instructions for an active/adaptive optical system comprising a controlled deformable mirror element and actuators designed to deform a controlled deformable mirror. The actuators commands provide establishment on the reflecting surface of the deformable mirror displacements corresponding required to compensate for wavefront superposition aberrations natural modes simulator mirrors having the same geometrical shape and the same elastic properties as itself deformable mirror, but having a zero density and forth in ground connection of actuators single lumped, takes into account only in the effort application direction from the actuators.
EFFECT: elimination of distortions during movements, increase of accuracy of compensation of wavefront aberrations.
