FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves application of an enterokinase preparation, incubation followed by photometry. As the enterokinase preparation, supernatant is used which is obtained as follows: during animals or birds slaughtering a scraping of the duodenum mucosa is taken, preliminarily washed with cold saline solution, mixed with Ringer's solution at a ratio of 1:10 and homogenized to a uniform consistency. After that, it is centrifuged at 5000 rpm for five minutes and the supernatant is isolated, the resulting enterokinase preparation is added to the blood plasma in the following ratios, ml: blood plasma 2.0-3.0, enterokinase preparation 0.1-0.2. The tube contents in the amount of 0.1 ml is incubated with the substrate for 5 minutes, the result is taken into account during photometry with a wavelength of 450 nm by the amount of hydrolyzed substrate of the enzymatic reaction and calculation of proteolytic activity.

EFFECT: application of this method allows to determine the proteolytic enzymes activity in the blood plasma to study the pancreas state.
