SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary science, agriculture and concerns a method for assessment of adaptation of poultry digestion to an ingredient composition of ration. Method of assessing adaptation of poultry digestion to ingredient composition of diet includes biochemical studies of activity of proteases and alkaline phosphatase in biological fluids of poultry, further calculating a phosphatase-protease index, which is compared with control values.

EFFECT: method described above provides effective assessment of adaptation of poultry digestion to the ingredient composition of the ration and thereby increases productivity and quality of livestock products.
