SUBSTANCE: ventilation unit comprising a centrifugal rotor (2), a diffuser (4) connected to the centrifugal rotor (2) and comprising the first and the second outlets (6, 7), the outlets are located on opposite sides of the centrifugal rotor (2) and define the blowing channel (5), the centrifugal rotor (2), the first outlet (6) and the second outlet (7) are aligned with each other in accordance with the main axis (X), perpendicular to axis (R) of rotation. The diffuser (4) comprises guiding means (12, 14) to direct the air flow (F) in the blowing channel (5), each first and second flow deflecting means (12, 14) has the first surface (12a, 14a) which is bent so that its concave portion faces the rotor (2). The first surface (12a, 14a) of the first and second flow deflection means (12, 14) is formed by a portion of a cylindrical surface having the main axis that coincides with the rotation axis (R).
EFFECT: prevention of vortices formation inside the diffuser.
