FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: device for determining the gluten amount in the grain includes a light source 1, a diffuser 2, a cuvette 3, two light filters 4 and 5 for transmitting radiation in the ranges of 400-600 nm and 600-850 nm, two photoreceivers 6 and 7 for receiving radiation in said ranges, and a measuring device 8. The device for determining the gluten amount contains a grain sampler 9, a micro mill 10, and an analog-to-digital converter 11 and a digital field map unit 12, electrically connected. Grain from the sampler 9 is fed to the micro mill 10 to produce flour entering the cuvette 3. The light through the diffuser 2 is directed to the cuvette 3, and then through the light filters 4 and 5 enters the photoreceivers 6 and 7 and further into the measuring device 8. The output of the measuring device 8 is electrically connected to the input of the analog-to-digital converter 11. The output of the converter 11 is connected to the input of the digital field map unit 12, which is connected to the satellite navigation system receiver with its input.

EFFECT: targeted application of fertilizers to field areas with a reduced gluten content in the grain.
