SUBSTANCE: dual-frequency glide-path radio beacon (GPRB) contains a narrow channel transmitter with an output "lateral frequencies" and an output "carrier frequency plus lateral frequencies", a wide channel transmitter with an output "lateral frequencies" of the wide channel and an output "ccarrier frequency plus lateral frequencies" of the wide channel, a distribution device with four inputs and four outputs, an antenna grid of four radiating elements mounted on the vertical mast with the suspension height of: H0 - the suspension height of the first radiating element, H0+d - the suspension height of the second radiating element, H0+2d - the suspension height of the third radiating element, H0+3d the suspension height of the fourth radiating element, where H0≤2.5 m, , λ - the wavelength, θg - the given glide angle. Each radiating element comprises an aperture sensor for detecting emitted signals (hereinafter, an aperture sensor), further comprises an adder with four inputs and four outputs, and a four-input modulation depth difference measuring device.
EFFECT: increasing the glide path angle stability and the glide path beacon zone steepness, when the height of the underlying surface changes due to snow falling or grass growth or the reflecting properties of the underlying surface change due to meteorological factors while providing requirements for the magnitude of the glide path curves and the specified timing zone.
