FIELD: radio equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in systems for instrumental approach to landing aircraft at aerodromes with high level of snow cover and complex form of terrain. Glide-path transmitter (GPT) format of landing radio beacon group (LRBG) with antenna array (AR) of radiating elements (RE) further comprises a second AR RE, wherein GPT with two AR, spaced apart in height, provides formation of "uninterrupted" glide path without use of clearance channel (not envisaged by format LRBG). In another version GPT some RE second AR combined with RE first AR. Invention provides higher reliability in comparison with two-frequency GPT, since passive microwave devices are used instead of the active device (the passageway transmitter).
EFFECT: high glide path and zone GPT stability.
