FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: suction pump has a vacuum port, the overpressure port and diverter valve, which includes a valve body with two entrances. The first input is connected to the vacuum port, and the second input - to a port overpressure. The switching valve comprises an output element with a through hole, able to move relative to the inputs of the first input to the second input and vice versa, providing the possibility of establishing the throughbore fluid communication successively with each of the inputs. The pump is adapted to release and vent holes through said output element on its movement path between the two inputs. The output element is lifting with respect to the two inputs during movement between its inputs with software release and venting of the through hole of the output member in its raised position. Disclosed is a method to ensure the functioning of the pump.
EFFECT: invention allows to bring the conditions of expressing milk to naturally by providing the fast and reliable reduction of the vacuum, even when using overpressure source.
