FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. The medical suction pump is driven by an engine with a pumping unit to create negative pressure and a housing in which the pumping unit is placed. The pumping unit contains a cylindrical electric motor, a cylindrical operating unit, a vacuum hole for the negative pressure generated by the pumping unit, and an additional hole that communicates with the vacuum hole through the pumping unit and which is connected to a sound attenuating chamber surrounded by a sound attenuating housing and containing an outlet. The sound attenuating chamber is tightly connected to the additional opening and surrounds it. The sound attenuating body contains a locking hook. The diameter of the working block is larger than the diameter of the electric motor, so that an annular surface is formed between them, on which it is possible to fix the locking hook of the sound-attenuating housing for connecting the sound-attenuating housing to the pumping unit.
EFFECT: providing a simple and compact medical pump with effective sound attenuation.
