FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: vehicle comprises an internal combustion engine configured to perform an automatic stop and automatic start, and a clutch configured to provide power transmission from the internal combustion engine to the wheels while the clutch is in the on-state. The clutch is configured to interrupt the power transfer from the internal combustion engine to the wheels when the clutch is in the off-state. The control system contains an electronic control unit. The electronic unit switches the clutch to the off-state and automatically starts the internal combustion engine, when the automatic start request is made and the value of the engine temperature parameter is equal to or greater than the threshold value. If the value of the engine temperature parameter is less than the threshold value, the electronic unit switches the clutch on and automatically starts the internal combustion engine.

EFFECT: increased comfort of driving a vehicle.
