FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. In compliance with this invention, when engine is started with second cylinder of the set of cylinders stays at TDC engine rpm increases owing to spark originates in said first cylinder. First cylinder is in expansion stroke, its outlet valve is not open. Fuel injected into first cylinder and fuel ignited, engine rpm is increased at transfer of torque taken off the revolving machine to the engine via clutch at peak section immediately after engine rpm increase. Peak section indicates engine rpm not smaller than preset portion relative to maximum magnitude between engine rpm increase section and decrease section located there behind.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of engine starting.
