FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: method includes turning of the solar battery panel (SB) into the operating position and current measuring from the SB at the time, when the radiation from the Earth enters the non-working side of the SB panel. Determine the current value of the solar radiation fall angle value (α) to the SB surface. If the value is α in the given range, determining by the characteristics of the SB working surface optical protective coating and the geometric parameters of its sensitive area, then measure the current value of the current (I) from the SB. The SB output current is determined from the value of I with the correction factor, that depending on α k -SB protective coating absolute refractive index.
EFFECT: recording provision of the solar radiation refraction and reflection influence by the optical protective coating to the solar battery measured output current.
