FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: universal core, containing a brittle material and fastened to the surface of a construction structure deformable from tensile or compressive forces is configured to determine the type of deformation and is formed from two tubular halves (1, 2) coaxially joined by means of a sleeve (3) with the possibility of forming a gap between the butt ends of the stem halves. At the same time, part of the bushing is rigidly fixed in one half (1), and the second half (2) is mounted on the hub (3) with the possibility of free movement on it. Inside the rod, there is an elastic element (4) fixed to the ends of the rod and connecting the halves (1, 2) to each other with a gap filled with a brittle material (5), for example, a gypsum, which does not change shape in the absence of external forces, while tearing or flaking (2) under the action of tensile forces and squeezed out of the gap under the action of compression forces.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency and versatility of the tool for visually determining compression or stretch strains.
