FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction and is intended for buildings and structures under construction in seismically hazardous areas, or for objects having a special purpose. Support for earthquake-resistant buildings comprises upper and lower parts with support surfaces between which balls are arranged as mobile communication support elements, wherein the support surface in one part is flat, and in the other part the support surfaces are made in the form of segments of spheres with a radius exceeding the radius of the ball. Support is made with three balls, which are located between flat horizontal surface of one part and three segments of spheres of other part, centers of which are separated from each other in different directions to ensure contact of horizontal surface with three balls. Balls and support surfaces of upper and lower parts are made of artificial or natural materials of dense structure.
EFFECT: technical result is widening the range of technical means used to protect buildings and structures from seismic actions, as well as reducing labor intensity of manufacturing and mounting supports of earthquake-resistant buildings, while maintaining their efficiency, reduce seismic forces and limit movement of buildings in earthquakes with a wide range of frequencies.
