SUBSTANCE: in a method of manufacturing a helical antenna based on obtaining a cylindrical or conical antenna blank by fixing the conductors of a helix on a planar dielectric substrate, assembling the substrates with conductors into a bag, winding a stack of substrates onto a cylindrical or conical tool, then fixing the bag and removing the tooling, the antennas are impregnated with a polymer compound in a vacuum.
EFFECT: stabilisation of antenna characteristics, increasing the mechanical strength and antenna resistance to the effects of pressure drops and to long-term operation in space.
