SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of organic chemistry, namely to a process for preparing a compound of formula (I)

((2S,5R)-7-oxo-6-sulphoxy-2-[((3R)-pyrrolidine-3-carbonyl)hydrazinocarbonyl]-1.6-diazbicycle[3.2.1] octane), comprising: (a) reacting the compound of Formula (II)

and a compound of Formula (III)

in the presence of water taken as the solvent, to give a compound of Formula (IV)

;

(B) hydrogenolysis of a compound of Formula (IV) to give a compound of Formula (V)

;

(C) sulfonation of a compound of Formula (V) to give a compound of Formula (VI)

;

and (d) converting a compound of Formula (VI) to the compound of Formula (I). The invention also relates to a method of producing the compound of formula (I).
