FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: aircraft engine outlet cone comprises a frame made of composite material, providing structural strength of the cone, and a sound absorption system made of composite material and fastened on the frame. The frame is formed with an axisymmetric piece having at its upstream end an upstream flange rim and at its downstream end a downstream flange rim. The sound absorbtion system comprises longitudinal partition walls made of a composite material, fastened on the up- and downstream flange rims with mechanical connecting means, and transverse partition walls made of a composite material fastened on longitudinal partitions walls with mechanical connecting means. The longitudinal and transverse partition walls limit chamber-resonators. The ratio between the thickness of the frame structural components and the thickness of the sound absorbtion system components is from 3 to 5. Another invention of the group relates to the rear housing of the aircraft engine comprising the above outlet cone.

EFFECT: outlet cone with a sound absorbtion system without significant increase in weight.
