FIELD: pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a water composition for oral care, containing: cationic steroid compound of formula
where R1 selected from -OH and NH-R2, R2 means C2-C14alkyl, C2-C14alkenyl or C2-C14alkynyl, n=3 or 4; and quaternary ammonia compound, where the cationic steroid compound is present in concentrations ranging from 0.01 wt % to 0.1 wt % of the composition. The invention also relates to the treatment process of gingivitis, periodontitis, caries, unpleasant odor caused by volatile sulfur compounds, inflammatory condition of the oral cavity, and a method for reduction of volatile sulfur compounds in the oral cavity, comprising administration of the said composition. The invention also relates to the use of the composition for treatment of gingivitis, periodontitis, caries, unpleasant odor caused by volatile sulfur compounds, inflammatory condition of the oral cavity.
EFFECT: reduction of volatile sulfur compounds of the oral cavity.
