FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: smoking article comprises the tobacco rod and the filter connected with the tobacco rod, comprising the first filter segment comprising one or more capsules to be crushed, wherein each capsule to be crushed comprises the outer shell and the inner core containing an additive; the hollow tubular segment located behind the first filter segment and forming a cavity at the mouthpiece filter end, wherein the hollow tubular segment is positioned between the rear end of the first filter segment and the mouthpiece filter end; and the filter wrapper surrounding the first filter segment and the hollow tubular segment. The filter wrapper has the specific weight less than 90 g/m2, wherein the hollow tubular segment is made from a plurality of overlapping paper layers, the adjacent paper layers of the hollow tubular segment being glued to one another with the intermediate adhesive layer.
EFFECT: improved resistance of the smoking article filter to wrinkling and deformation.
