SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a filter containing a capsule in the cavity, and to a smoking article having a mouthpiece containing such a capsule in the cavity. The smoking article contains an aerosol-generating substrate and a mouthpiece containing a cavity at least partially filled with loose material and enclosing a destructible capsule with liquid flavor, at least partially surrounded by this loose material, while the bulk material occupies at least 60% of the volume cavity that is no longer occupied by the capsule, and the force required to break the capsule inside the mouthpiece to release the liquid flavor is less than three times the capsule's own crush resistance.

EFFECT: creation of a new version of the filter, which contains destructible flavoring capsules and which provides the possibility of easier crushing of these capsules by the user while minimizing the risk of accidental destruction of the capsules during the production process and the usual manipulation of smoking products.
