FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: closed intervertebral disc prosthesis comprises oppositely disposed support plates, elements retaining lateral movement relative to the vertebrae and a disc mounted between the plates, which is a part of the mobile connection of plates. Between the coaxially arranged plates corrugated elastic diaphragm membranes are attached, which are interconnected along the outer circumference and form a flat membrane box cavity which is filled with a biocompatible liquid containing antifriction unmodified carbon nanoparticles. A disc made from high molecular weight polyethylene is installed in the cavity membrane box cavity and pressed against the adjacent membrane with its flat face by the curved ends of the attached cruciform washer covering the face along the edge of the sphere, the washer is located in the flat end recess, with its convex spherical end face forming a movable spherical joint a concave spherical end face of the disc-shaped titanium abutment attached to the other membrane with its flat end. Fixing elements are designed as flat serrated brackets with holes in the side walls fixed perpendicularly to the outer surfaces of the support plates.
EFFECT: increased stability of the mutual arrangement of the endoprosthesis elements, simplifed installation, reduced wear of element surfaces, forming a flexible joint, increased implant service life and reduced duration of surgery.
