FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: secondary radar antenna system consists of the main request channel antenna, an antenna of the side lobe suppression channel, installed outside the main request channel antenna. Also a device is introduced that provides electrical communication between the main antenna and the antenna of the side lobe suppression channel.
EFFECT: decreasing the level of the side lobes, the width of the main beam DN of the channel antenna, increase the rate of the survey, increasing the accuracy of determining the angular coordinates of the aircraft while maintaining small weight and dimensions of the antenna system.
