FIELD: radar ranging.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radar ranging and can be used in radar stations for direction finding of the active interference source in the case when the active interference transmitter is not matched with the object to be covered, acting through the beam lobes of the directional pattern (DP) of suppressed radar station. In the direction-finding source of interference, the azimuthal position of the target is simultaneously measured using the antenna system of the main channel, having DP with narrow main lobe, and interference source using additional channels additional channels antenna systems, having difference DP with zero in main lug direction of main channel antenna system. At that, determination of azimuthal position of noise source is carried out by means of difference DP complementary channel antenna systems. Determination of azimuthal position of interference source is carried out by measuring ratio of amplitudes of signals obtained from antenna systems having difference directional patterns, additional channels, or measurement of ratio of phase difference of signals received by means of antenna systems, having difference directional patterns, additional channels (phase method or its variety goniometric).
EFFECT: technical result is to expand the direction finding sector of the interference source, enable separation of angular coordinates of signals from the target and signals from the interference source, simultaneous determination of coordinates of the target and interference source, as well as in unambiguous determination of coordinates of noise source in expanded direction-finding sector.
