FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method for controlling suspension of electrostatic gyroscope rotor, according to which a temporary pause is created at the beginning of the weighing process, the offset value of the rotor from the suspension center along each of its axes is converted into an equivalent value of the electric voltage which is subjected to frequency correction, the correction result is added to the reference voltage, the addition result is amplified, the resulting high voltage power is applied to the suspension power electrode, while the correction result is subtracted from the reference voltage, the subtraction result is amplified, the resulting high voltage power is applied to the other suspension power electrode, operations are administered, according to which before weighing, gyroscope rotor is oriented in a position in which one of the orthogonal axes of the suspension is vertical, and only reference voltages are applied to the suspension power electroders during the time pause, as a result rotor is pressed against the thrusts located around the lower power electrode, centering it in the gap between the power electroders, which axes are located in the horizontal plane.

EFFECT: providing the weighing of the rotor without exciting the suspension and increasing the accuracy of the electrostatic gyroscope.
