FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: alternating voltage is fed to the rotor, and constant voltage is applied to the power electrodes of the suspension. Alternating current components are measured between the rotor and the measuring electrodes, on their basis a constant voltage control signal is formed on power electrodes. At that, alternating voltage is supplied to the rotor through power electrodes, and constant voltage generated by the control signal on the basis of alternating current components is applied to the measuring electrodes.

EFFECT: increase of centering force of the electrostatic suspension of the gyroscope rotor, and the reloading capacity of the gyroscope, respectively.
