FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to safety devices used in explosive hazard and radioactive objects, such as lightweight panels and roofs, anti-explosion fences and dampers, overpressure valves. Method for explosion protection with damping device includes installation in the enclosing structures of buildings in which explosive and fire hazard equipment is functioning, and explosion-proof elements. For upper fences they are made in the form of anti-explosion panels and installed on the roof or attic partition of a building with explosive hazard objects located therein. They are made in the form of anti-explosion panels containing a metal armoured frame with metal armoured plating and lead filler, which has four fixed support pipes at the ends, and four support rods are rigidly embedded in the building cover, which are telescopically inserted into the fixed pipe of panel support. The filler is made in the form of air-lead disperse system. Lead is made in the shape of a crumb. To fix the limit position of the panel, the end plates are welded to the ends of the support rods. To the ends of the support rods, from the side facing the metal frame, explosion-proof elements damping the impact of the shock wave are attached. Between the additional elements and the metal frame with armoured metal lining, bushings of quick-disintegrating material, for example glass, such as "triplex", or pneumatic damping elements made of rubber cord shells, for example a conical shape having a central hole into which the rod enters, are mounted on the support rods. Fixed pipe-supports, embedded in the panel, are made in the axial section of curved shape, for example, hyperbolic.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase the reliability of the operation of explosion-proof devices in case of emergency explosion at the facility and to ensure that these structures return to their original position after the explosion.
