FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: tightness control is carried out using a working gas mixture of air with control gas. Outside the controlled fuel tank (1), a working gas mixture supply line and a working gas mixture circulation line are provided. In the supply line of the working gas mixture, a gas mixer (12) is installed to obtain the concentration of the mixture necessary for detecting the leak. In the circulation line, a fan (21) is installed to circulate the mixture through the fuel tank (1). Tightness or leakage of the controlled fuel tank is established according to the readings of the leak detector (23).
EFFECT: increased efficiency and quality of the tightness control of fuel tanks.
