FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of testing equipment, in particular to testing of space technology products for tightness. In the proposed method, a controllable product is placed in a sealed accumulation volume filled with air, at atmospheric pressure. Air in the accumulation volume is continuously mixed. A means for measuring a sample gas concentration in air is connected to the accumulation volume. A mixture of sample and process gases is prepared, a calculated number of equal portions of the gas mixture is introduced into the accumulation volume with equal time intervals, and increase in the sample gas concentration in air of the accumulation volume is recorded using the measuring means. At the same time, the intensity of sample gas transfer in the accumulation volume is considered taking into account changes in the sample gas concentration in the accumulation volume, measured at intervals between introductions of portions of the gas mixture, and the intensity of air exchange of the accumulation volume with surrounding atmosphere is considered by deviation of increase in the sample gas concentration in air of the accumulation volume from a linear dependence on time.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability and performance of testing of a test system, when controlling for tightness.
