FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel compounds in the series of indoline spiropyrans, namely 1',3',3',6-tetramethyl-8-[(1,3,3-trimethylindol-1-yum-2-yl)vinyl]spiro[chromene-2,2'-indoline] perchlorate 1 and 8-methoxy-1',3',3', -trimethyl-6-[(1,3,3-trimethylindol-1-yum-2-yl) vinyl]spiro[chromene-2,2'-indoline] perchlorate 2 . New salt derivatives of 1,3,3-trimethylspiro [chromene-2,2'-indoline] 1 and 2 exhibit photochromic properties in the long-wave region of the spectrum with λ= 728 nm and λ= 466 and 668 nm, respectively, and have an open life of 8.4 s for connection 1 and 118.6 and 80.5 s for connection 2. The compounds can be used to create organic magnets with controlled characteristics as a cationic functional constituent with complex metal oxalate anions, as a basis for information recording and reading systems, as well as molecular switches.
