SUBSTANCE: method for control of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) sorption efficiency during selective LPS-hemosorption, including determination of presepsin concentration in blood before and after the hemosorbent column, at least once per hour, and with increasing presepsin concentration in blood after the hemosorbent column, reduction of hemosorbent sorption efficiency is recorded.

EFFECT: method allows efficient selective lipopolysaccharide hemosorption and provides precise control by obtaining the most reliable data of the hemosorption operation and ensures its safety for the patient due to the restricted release of LPS from the hemosorbent column.
