METHOD FOR EXPRESS ANALYSIS IN VITRO OF ANTIBIOTIC SENSITIVITY OF BACTERIA AND FUNGI IN PATIENT Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G01N33/577

Abstract RU 2735983 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Method for rapid analysis in vitro of antibiotic sensitivity of bacteria and fungi in a patient consists in the fact that blood is taken in amount of 1 ml into two sterile test tubes with an anticoagulant, then 50 mcl 0.9 % sterile NaCl solution is introduced into the first test tube, and in second 50 mcl of the freshly prepared solution of the single dose of the antibiotic diluted per 100 ml of the antibiotic solvent, the analyzed substance is presepsin, determining its blood content in the first and second test tubes using a diagnosticum on an immunochemiluminescent analyzer, and sensitivity of bacteria and fungi to the antibiotic is determined by reducing presepsin content in the second test tube by 10 % and more compared to the content of presepsin in the first test tube.

EFFECT: invention provides fast detection of bacterial and fungal infection sensitivity to antibiotics.
