FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method of producing a catalyst of the composition {LaxBa(1-x)}{FeyNb(1-y)}(1-z)PdzO3, where x = 0.30-0.95, y = 0.07-0.94, z = 0.01-0.10, includes preparing a mixture of components containing, in predetermined ratio, lanthanum, barium, iron, niobium and palladium, followed by heat treatment. The process is carried out in one stage by the pyrolysis of an organic solution containing lanthanum, barium, iron, niobium and palladium, at 600°C for 1 hour. The organic solution containing the said elements is produced by mixing in a predetermined extract ratio of lanthanum, iron, niobium and palladium with a solution of barium oleate in benzene. Lanthanum is extracted from a nitrate solution containing 1 g/l of lanthanum with a benzene solution containing 0.3% of phenanthroline and 20% of acetylacetone; iron is extracted from chloride solution containing 6.5 g/l of iron with a 10% solution of trioctylamine in benzene; niobium is extracted from a sulfate oxalate solution containing 1 g/l of niobium with a 5% solution of trialkylbenzylammonium chloride; palladium is extracted from a chloride solution containing 2.5 g/l of palladium with 10% solution of trioctylamine in benzene. The produced extracts after separation from aqueous phases are mixed with solution of barium oleate in benzene and subjected to pyrolysis after distilling off the solvent at 600°C for 1 hour.

EFFECT: simplification of the method for producing the catalyst.
