FIELD: lighting engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of luminescent materials used in lighting engineering, as well as in nonlinear optics in a wide spectral range. To obtain boric phosphors, heat treatment of organic salts of rare earth elements is carried out. As a precursor, a mixture of lanthanum oleate and terbium or europium oleate is used, to which a boric acid solution is added in a mixture of octanol and trioctylamine. The resulting mixture is heated first for 1 hour at 200°C, then at a temperature of 550-900°C for 2 hours.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify the production of lanthanum borates doped with europium or terbium by reducing the number of stages and synthesis time.
