FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry and can be used in production of materials for light-emitting diodes. Tungsten extract is prepared by extraction with a benzene solution of trioctylamine from an aqueous solution of sodium tungstate, as well as extracts of europium, samarium or terbium by extraction from aqueous nitrate solutions with an equal volume of benzene solution containing acetylacetone and phenanthroline, with volume ratio of aqueous and organic phases of 1:1 in both cases. After stratification, the organic phase is separated. Mixture of tungsten extract, lanthanum oleate and REE extracts is dissolved at temperature of 60-80 °C to remove the organic solvent and heat treatment at temperature of 800-900 °C for 1-2 hours. Obtained lanthanum tungstates are simultaneously doped with two different rare-earth elements and have a composition La1.95Ln10.05-xLn2xW2O9, where Ln1 and Ln2 are different rare-earth elements.
EFFECT: simple process due to a small number of steps, reduced duration, wider range of obtained tungstates of rare-earth elements due to accuracy of adding alloying additives.
