FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: pumping dispenser, containing a container and a pump unit. The container is configured to contain a flowable product to be dispensed and has a peripheral wall of the container forming an upper opening. The pump unit is settled in the upper opening of the container and comprises a pump casing, a pump plunger and a part of the adapter for mounting the pump casing in the container opening. The pump housing and the pump plunger form a pump chamber between them. The pump plunger is reciprocable relative to the pump housing during the pump stroke to vary the volume of the pump chamber. The pump unit comprises a downwardly directed base element that includes a downwardly directed central displacement portion of the base and a peripheral area of the air pocket adjacent to the container wall in the assembled dispenser. The inlet of the pump is formed by the input element of the pump unit leading to the pump chamber. The pump inlet is open to the air pocket area to expel or draw the trapped air accumulating in the air pocket area from the container space to the pump during assembly or when the pump is first pumped when it is used before dosing the product.

EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of preventing air from entering the dispensed area and increasing the accuracy of dosing.
