FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: in the method for control of a hybrid vehicle battery charging at a parking lot, for which the internal combustion engine and the motor provide simultaneous or independent vehicle movement based on the driving conditions and the battery level, the battery charging is activated in the parking lot at driver's request by means of an interface. Vehicle start in the parking lot is permitted with a recommendation to precharge the battery at the parking lot if the battery level is between the critical threshold and a higher safety threshold.
EFFECT: solution takes into account the needs and wishes of the driver.
