FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises: a handle that can be grasped by the user; a needle assembly containing a cannula, wherein the needle assembly is operatively connected to the handle and is adapted to cut the tissue sample; and a drive unit operatively connected to the handle and the needle assembly. The drive unit comprises: a biasing element; a sliding element configured to be biased by a biasing element when the drive unit is driven; a driven element; and a shock element connected to the needle assembly, the shock element being configured to bias at least a portion of the needle assembly when the shock element strikes the sliding element. The cannula is fixedly connected to the driven element and the driven element is detachably connected to the shock element, the driven element being releasably arranged with the shock element such that the shock element extends a distance greater than the driven element when the device is actuated.
EFFECT: increased application convenience.
