SUBSTANCE: method includes: obtaining a working instruction for switching on the first camera; tracking the working instruction received by the terminal screen on the terminal; when it is tracked that the terminal screen received a touch operation, evaluating whether the touch operation matches the specified touch operation; and when the touch operation coincides with the preset touch operation, the switching from the first camera on to the second camera is started. The device includes: an acquisition module, a tracking module, a first evaluation module, and a switching module. In accordance with the present invention, when the user wishes to switch cameras, the user performs a touch operation that coincides with a predetermined touch operation on the terminal screen to activate the camera switching terminal; when the terminal monitors that the terminal screen receives a touch operation that coincides with the specified touch operation, the terminal will perform switching from the inclusion of the first camera to activating the second camera; the process of operations is simple and thus the switching efficiency is increased.
