FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport. According to the method of automatic reading forces action of railway wheel and rail converts mechanical forces action wheel and rail in fluid pressure. Then liquid pressure is converted, which occurs as a result of interaction with rail in motion into electric signal, which repeats the shape of the resultant signal of instantaneous values of wheel force on rails. After that analysis of received signal is performed for determination of defects in suspension elements. Device for automatic reading of train wheel force applied to railway includes placed under the rail tank with fluid and piston transmitting wheel force onto liquid. Note here that tank with liquid is connected to the pressure sensor. Air-tightness of the tank is provided by means of flexible sealing gasket which is arranged in the tank and in contact with the piston.
EFFECT: higher safety of railway transport owing to timely detection of damaged suspension elements.
