FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: protective shield contains a support and a wear-resistant insert, attached to the scraper of the auger press, a centrifuge, a gravitation filter. The support and wear-resistant insert are connected therebetween by means of mechanical locking system. At that, support attached to the scraper provides that the insert is secured with mechanical fixation only. The support has at least one opening into which the insert is placed. The insert consists of a plate and at least one pin connected thereto. At least one pin provides placement of the insert into the support. The auger conveyor, for example, auger press, centrifuge, gravitation filter, contains a number of protective shields installed on the auger along its perimeter.

EFFECT: provide protective shields withstand the arising mechanical and tribological stresses.
