FIELD: printing industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coextruded multilayer films susceptible to a variety of ink-jet embodiments. The printed substrate includes a multilayer film having the following laminated configuration: a printing layer having a thickness of at least about 15.2 mcm (0.6 mils), susceptible to eco-solvent ink, soft-soluble ink, latex ink, UV ink or combinations thereof, wherein the printing layer includes one or more eco-solvent ink, soft-soluble ink, latex ink, UV ink or a combination thereof, as well as a tie layer, a core layer, and an adhesive layer.
EFFECT: multilayer films of the present invention provide an advantage due to their versatility with respect to a plurality of ink-jet embodiments.
