FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: scroll compressor includes a housing 1, a suction cavity 2, a discharge cavity, which is also an oil sump 3, a driving and driven spiral elements 6, 7 engaged with each other, having fixed eccentric axes of rotation. Each of the elements 6, 7 consists of a base and a spiral blade 34, 35 disposed thereon. In the housing 1, oil supply channels 22, 23 are provided, communicating with the oil cavities 16, 24. Between the bases of the elements 6, 7 and the housing 1, cylindrical channels 17, 25 and annular sealing bands are made, and in the element bases there are paired holes for feeding lubricant therethrough into the space between the elements 6, 7 under the action of centrifugal forces in order to form hydrodynamic lubrication wedges in working condition between them. The oil sump 3 is configured to recycle the lubricant.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the compressor operation and increased service life, improved technological design of the working node by eliminating the synchronizing device.
