SUBSTANCE: machine contains a liquid pump assembly with radially positioned cylinders, the pump assembly comprises a plurality of pumps, at least three pumps each having a piston disposed in the cylinder, as well as high pressure and low pressure channels. The machine also provides the first manifold connecting the high pressure channels of the first group of first stage pumps so that the pumps of the first group are connected in parallel, wherein at least one second stage pump is connected in series with the first pump group. The invention also relates to a method of creating a vacuum in a packaging machine.
EFFECT: increased level of evacuation.
