FIELD: welding.
SUBSTANCE: present invention can be used when making a hollow blade of a turbo machine, particularly a rotor blade of a fan. The set has a bundle of at least two work pieces, joined along their whole length by their edges except the section which forms a window. Work piece pairs are bordered by a cavity. Each of the work pieces has at least one surface which faces the cavity, and on which, in accordance with the given figure, there is a diffusion-resistant apparatus, containing a binding substance, subject to thermal decomposition. The set also has a sealed reservoir, with an open side, hermetically joined with the window of the window in the bundle, linking the inside of the reservoir and the cavity. The reservoir is pumped to a partial vacuum and is non-deflecting under the effect of temperature and pressure during diffusion welding of the bundle. The reservoir is used for disposing gases formed from decomposition of the binding substance when it reaches its thermal decomposition temperature.
EFFECT: invention seeks to improve conditions for diffusion welding and provides for elimination of sources of pollution of joined surfaces due to removal of gaseous products from decomposition of diffusion-resistant media.
