FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: surgical stapler is configured to receive a staple unit containing staples, at that, the surgical stapler comprises a handle, a trunk, a supporting jaw and an abutment jaw. The handle contains a trigger and a starting assembly. At that, the trigger is configured to actuate the starting assembly. The trunk extends from the handle, the trunk includes a knife holder, functionally connected to the starting assembly. The knife holder includes a cam, a cutting edge and an end clamp. The end clamp includes the proximal end and the distal end. The supporting jaw contains a supporting surface, a displacing guide. The supporting surface is configured to support the staple unit, at that, the supporting surface forms the support plane. The displacing guide is formed along the axis, transversely with respect to the support plane. The abutment jaw contains a driven mechanism and an abutment surface. The driven mechanism is slidably received in the displacing guide. The abutment surface is designed to deform the staples. At that, the knife holder cam is adapted to come into contact with the abutment jaw and move the abutment surface towards the support surface when the knife holder moves from the proximal end towards the distal end of the end clamp. For the second option, the surgical stapler is configured to receive a staple unit containing staples, at that, the surgical stapler comprises a handle, a trunk, a supporting jaw and an abutment jaw. The handle contains a trigger and a starting system. At that, the trigger is configured to actuate the starting system. The trunk extends from the handle, the trunk includes a cutting member functionally connected to the starting system. The cutting member comprises at least one cam member and an end clamp. The end clamp includes the proximal end and the distal end. The support jaw includes a plurality of stationary staple ejectors and a guide formed along the axis. The abutment jaw contains a driven mechanism and an forming surface. The driven mechanism is slidably received in the guide. The forming surface is configured to deform the staples, at that, the cam member of the cutting member is configured to come into contact with the abutment jaw and move the forming surface towards the stationary staple ejectors between the open position, the closed position and the actuated position, when the knife holder is moved from the proximal end in the direction of the distal end. The forming surface is perpendicular to the axis when the abutment jaw moves between the closed position and the actuated position.
EFFECT: inventions provide the optimum amount of operation force to set the rows of staples and cut the tissue.
