FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: artificial lens has a total diameter of 9-11 mm, contains a separate optical part in the form of a disc, not more than 5 mm in diameter with 1-2 manipulation holes and a haptic part in the form of a ring with 2 equidistant open loops. It has a circular cross-section and expansion at free ends. At that, on the back edge of the ring there is a continuous protrusion, along the leading edge - 2-3 petal-like equidistant protrusions.
EFFECT: application of this invention will allow to optimize clinical refraction of the growing child's eye in the critical period of visual system development, effectively eliminate ametropia, including astigmatism, after eye growth stops, reduce trauma of eye tissues during primary and repeated operations.
